Prof. Bornali Bhandari is a Professor at the National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER), specialising in international economics and macroeconomics. Her research examines globalisation, development, trade, FDI, infrastructure, skilling, digitalisation and climate finance. She has undertaken extensive industry and policy research, including work on automobiles, farm mechanisation and digitisation. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Oregon.
