Bai Chong-En is Dean of the School of Economics and Management at Tsinghua University and a Distinguished Professor of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. A Harvard-trained economist, he studies the relationship between economic institutions, public policy, development, and the Chinese economy. He has also served on the Monetary Policy Committee of the People’s Bank of China.
