Professor Saon Ray is an economist specialising in industry and international trade, with research interests spanning low-carbon growth and financial inclusion. She is a Visiting Professor at ICRIER and has authored and co-edited books on global cooperation, G20 finance, global value chains and low-carbon pathways for India. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
